1. Cybersecurity analyst

Why?

This is an entry-level role in the cybersecurity field and coding skills are not required (at the beginning at least). At the same time, cybersecurity analyst jobs are projected to grow up to 31% from 2019 to 2029. This is much faster than any other occupation.

What?

The job is to protect company hardware, software, and networks from cybercriminals. An analyst needs to understand company IT infrastructure, monitor it and evaluate threats that could potentially breach the network.

How?

2. DevOps Engineer

Why?

A DevOps career is becoming more and more popular. Apparently, leading job search portals like indeed.com have witnessed a 75% rise in listings of DevOps jobs. Also, social media sites like LinkedIn have recorded a 50% increase in mention of DevOps as a skill.

What?

DevOps eliminates the conflicts between development and operations teams. For a long time, this has been one of the main challenges that businesses faced. DevOps Engineer is an IT generalist who combines the roles and knowledge of both development and operations. This includes such skills as coding, infrastructure management, and system administration.

How?

If you want a career in DevOps, you can see you start as a Release Manager. Then, you can move up to DevOps Test Engineer, DevOps Cloud Engineer, and finally, a DevOps Architect.

3. Mobile developer

Why?

The global mobile application market size was valued at USD 154.05 billion in 2019. Moreover, it's expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.5% from 2020 to 2027.

What?

Mobile developers specialise in mobile technology, such as building apps for Google's Android, Apple's iOS and Microsoft's Windows Phone platforms. Depending on the specialization, they need knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, or Objective-C.

How?

Some mobile app developers attend a college or university and earn a bachelor's degree in computer science. However, others are self-taught and have no formal education in computing.

Conclusion for high paying freelance jobs

It’s important to understand that these jobs are not so easy to enter, like data entry or virtual assistance for example. But at the same time, they will be the perfect choice if you are ready to study hard for 3-6 months in order to give a kick start your career with a very decent salary.
