Upwork Proposal Views
for Freelancers - Finally!
(but not yet)
On February 22, they launched a test feature which we’ve been asking from them for SOOO long - Upwork Proposal Views. Finally, freelancers will be able to identify when their proposal was viewed by the client, helping to analyze and improve their proposals submission process.
Let’s see the details of Upwork Proposal Views? Read till the end to find out why we are not 100% happy yet.
Proposals Views feature allows freelancers to see timestamps of when clients viewed their submitted proposals.

- ‘Eye’ icon on the right side will show the time when client viewed the proposal.
The ‘Bell’ icon at the top of the page will also show notifications of proposal views.
This is a very cool feature and we are really happy Upwork is adding it!
Is there a downside? Unfortunately yes. This is still a three-week test which impacts only 50% of freelancers. The 3 weeks have already passed and none of the freelancers in our agency had a chance to try the feature yet.
But we are really looking forward to it once the update is live for all!
