Dolce Violins sells premium instruments to artistic, creative musicians. UX is always important, but it was of particular essence considering the user persona for this kind of business. The target audience of Dolce Violins has a subtle understanding of style and high attention to detail. That is why an unorganized website that takes a long time to load significantly decreased conversions for Dolce.
When we started to work with Dolce Violins they had a very old and slow website. It had too many images of large size affecting the site performance. The images were also all of different sizes, which looked odd and gave an unfriendly user experience.
Etcetera's job was to combine modern and classic elements and create a fast user-friendly site.
