Today we want to tell you a story about the client, who brought challenge to Etcetera.
Dolce Violins sells premium instruments to artistic, creative musicians. UX is always important, but it was of particular essence considering the user persona for this kind of business. The target audience of Dolce Violins has a subtle understanding of style and high attention to detail. That is why an unorganized website that takes a long time to load significantly decreased conversions for Dolce.
When we started to work with Dolce Violins they had a very old and slow website. It had too many images of large size affecting the site performance. The images were also all of different sizes, which looked odd and gave an unfriendly user experience.
Etcetera's job was to combine modern and classic elements and create a fast user-friendly site.
We gathered a team of a project manager, a web designer, and a WordPress developer with the right skills to achieve the best results for such a project.
Our team had a lot to do:
- We created a new design for the website, proposed new colors, and added modern visual elements.
- Unified all the images and structured instruments by collections.
- Improved the blog outline and the overall structure of the website.
- We continue working now on developing rental and trial modes for Dolce and adding more improvements to make the UI even more beautiful.
Coupled with the clients marketing efforts, our new design and website performance gave amazing results. Dolce Violin traffic was 235 in May when we implemented the changes. Now it is over 1700 and growing.
