Did you know yesterday was international self care day? We are making this post today because we were self-caring rather than working yesterday, by the way 🙂 And when was the last time you had alone quality time?
During the war, we often feel ashamed for resting and tend to work-work-work as hard as we can. But no one can work efficiently if exhausted, so we’ve made a list of useful apps that will help you add self care time to your weekly routine.
We made a goal to choose self-care apps that are made by Ukrainians or provide free access to Ukrainians
BetterMe: Mental Health – meditation and self-care programs. The app was made free for Ukrainians, it has simple meditations and guided courses for mental well-being. They also have an app with workouts called BetterMe: Health Coaching that made it to top 3 worldwide in the niche.
Avrora: Sleep Booster – A Ukrainian application for improving the quality of sleep. It’s in top 3 by downloads in the USA in the category “Meditation and sleep”.
Teplo – App to find a psychologist and counseling in a chat format. AI will pick a qualified specialist individually for you. Free to everyone whose request is related to the war.
Viveo – telehealth platform which offers easily accessible virtual care directly through your phone. People affected by the war in Ukraine can get a free medical consultation with a licensed doctor online via audio or video link, wherever they are.
Playseek – mobile application that will help you gather a company with one click to play football or find a sparring partner, for example, to play tennis.
! Don’t forget to turn on app notifications so that you end up actually using these apps on a regular basis.
