Today we’ll tell about three trending jobs that might look strange and hard at first. But don’t be intimidated, they are not so scary, and very well-paid.So, it’s worth considering them if you want to switch careers and earn great income after just a few months of training.

1. NFT/ICO Analyst

  • Why?

    NFTs and ICOs are helping to bring billions of eyes to the crypto industry. At the same time, it’s not a bubble about to crash, because the industry can now handle it. So, those who start a career as NFT/ICO Analyst now can already enjoy the fruits of this harvest.

    According to Glassdoor, a junior ICO Analyst makes $88,448 /yr. NFT Analyst jobs on Upwork, for example, start at $20/hour.

  • What?

    NFT and ICO Analysts collect data and prepare researches in order to provides recommendations on investment opportunities for companies. If you spend a couple of months leaning the depths of NFT and ICO world, you will be able to get beginner jobs in the area.

  • How?

    NFT and ICO Analyst are different jobs, of course, so you can start by watching beginner courses on Udemy to pick which one you prefer and then continue with more serious training.

2. System Analyst

  • Why?

    System Analyst profession is not new, but it is getting stable demand for the last 10 years (based on data from Google Trends). System Analysts’ salaries start from $75K/year.

  • What?

    A systems analyst solves business problems with IT. Their job is to work with the company management to identify what are the main business priorities, and then to communicate with the development and IT teams to make sure that all the company systems work to achieve those goals. To enter this profession, you don’t have to know development languages, but you’ll need to have a basic understanding of the area to develop specifications and requirements for developers to follow.

  • How?

    If you are already familiar with AI, ML, Business Intelligence, or software development industry, you can read free information and try getting beginner System Analytics jobs on Upwork already.

    If you don’t have any IT background, you can find good courses on Coursera, like this one from the University of Minnesota, for example: https://www.coursera.org/learn/analysis-for-business-systems?action=enroll. They have a 7 day free trial, and after that it’s $39/month.

3. Business Process Automation (BPA)

  • Why?

    BPA market is expected to grow from USD 9.8 billion in 2020 to USD 19.6 billion by 2026. This means that learning this profession now will only increase a demand for it in the future, increasing also the income of good professionals. More and more tools for BPA are emerging, like MS PowerUps, Make (formerly Integromat), n8n, that allow automating and optimizing business workflows.

  • What?

    BPA experts implement ETL (extract, transform, load) process to transform routine tasks into automated scripts. As the result, automated workflows allow companies to operate more efficiently.

  • How?

    If you are a developer already – this could be a great opportunity to upscale to a BPA Developer/Analyst. According to Glassdoor, they make $105,789/year.

    If you are new to IT, check out no-code or low-code BPA opportunities. For example, there are several job posts on Upwork for Zapier or Monday experts. So, to start you may need just to master one automation tool and help companies implement it in their business.
