Digital Nomad Visas

with minimal monthly income

We wrote a post about opportunities for Digital Nomads in Europe a couple of weeks ago. Because we love freelance and the freedoms it gives, we’d like to share more about this great opportunity.

As of June 2022, more than 25 countries and territories have introduced “digital nomad” visas, but many of them require over 2k USD income per month, which is not so realistic for many, unfortunately.

Today we’ve made a list of countries where you can get a Digital Nomad visa with no minimum income or at least a reasonable one considering the financial situation most Ukrainians are in now and the current exchange rate.

Digital Nomad Visas

  • Argentina has a Short-Term Residence Permit for Digital Nomads for six months and renewable for another six months. No minimum income.

  • Bermuda has a Work from Bermuda One Year Residential Certificate. It’s for up to one year, with an option to reapply. Financially, you will need proof of means to support yourself and your dependents without the specified amounts.

  • Brazil’s Digital Nomad Visa lasts for up to one year, with an option to renew. The minimum monthly income required is USD 1,500 or an available bank balance of USD 18,000.

  • Cabo Verde Remote Working Visa Program is up to six months, with an option to renew for an additional six months. You’ll need proof of a minimum bank balance of 1,500 euros per person or 2,700 euros per family over the past six months.

  • Curaçao’s visa is called @HOME in Curaçao. It’s valid for up to six months, with an option to extend for another six months. They will ask for proof of economic solvency (a declaration of assignment, recent employer declaration, or certified copy of an employment contract).

  • Mauritius has Premium Visa for Digital Nomads. It lasts for up to one year, with an option to renew. The minimum income is USD 1,500 per month, plus an additional USD 500 per month for each dependent.

  • Saint Lucia’s program is called “Live It”. Visa lasts for up to one year. Again, you’ll need proof of sufficient funds without a clarification.

  • Seychelles Visitors’ Workation Perm is for up to one year, with an option to renew. They will need proof of source of income.

  • Sri Lanka’s Digital Nomad Visa lasts one year, with an option to renew. You’ll need proof of income or funds sufficient for the duration of the stay.
