E-learning

Opportunities

For Freelancers

August 31 is the day to celebrate learning outside the traditional classroom - World Distance Learning Day.

Distance learning or e-learning market is expected to reach $350 Billion by 2025 and today we would like to share with you what opportunities the e-learning trend presents for freelancers or those who plan to start earning remotely.

More and more new platforms for e-learning are emerging bringing opportunities not just for the instructors, but for all sorts of freelancers.

  1. Everyone can easily learn new skills from home, which only a few years ago required physically going to offline courses. You can boost your career fast by taking on both hard and soft skills taught by professionals from all over the world.
  2. You can found your own start-up and start an e-learning platform to teach anyone all sorts of things. Just use low-code or no-code and quickly launch an MVP in a couple of weeks.
  3. The blended learning approach involves using large support teams. You can become a mentor, curator, producer, or course creator. The demand for such people is boosting now.
  4. Developers and designs can create websites and platforms to allow experts to easily provide their courses for the target audience. The demand for such services is growing now, and experts with experience in the niche can hope for larger rates.

So, if you look at online learning outside the box beyond just teaching or becoming a tutor, e-learning opens many doors for creative talents. We found 1,364 job posts on Upwork for the keyword e-learning, including those for developers, marketers, designers, VAs, and managers.
