Low/No-code Developer

▪️What it is: Low/No-code developers design and build applications using visual, drag-and-drop platforms instead of traditional coding. They are central to rapid software development and lean startups.

▪️ Courses: Start with free courses from Nocode.tech or Bubble’s free online introductory course.

▪️ Estimate salary: The average salary for low/no-code developers is approximately $70,000 – $90,000 per year.

3. Cybersecurity Analyst

▪️What it is: Cybersecurity analysts protect an organization’s IT infrastructure from cyber threats. They aalyze security breaches, implement solutions, and work on preventive measures.

▪️ Courses: Free courses are available from Cybrary for example. And for a deeper dive, try the Cybersecurity Analyst Certificate from CompTIA.

▪️ Estimate salary: According to Payscale, the average cybersecurity analyst’s salary ranges from $64,000 to $120,000 per year. On Glassdoor, there are 7,000+ job posts for this role.

4. DevOps Engineer

▪️What it is: DevOps engineers work in software development (Dev) and IT operations (Ops). They help to automate and streamline the system processes and reduce the time of development life cycles.

▪️ Courses: Start with $14.99 Introduction to DevOps course from Udacity, or free DevOps courses from IBM and AWS EdX, which are beginner-friendly.

▪️ Estimate salary: The average DevOps engineer salary is $99,604 per year, according to data from Glassdoor. There are currently 800+ job posts for this role on Upwork.
